Faye was born in North Branch, Ontario, Canada to parents Harry and Kay Benjamin. In 1946 the family moved from Canada to International Falls, Minnesota. Then in 1950 the family moved to Littleton, Colorado and later to Deer Creek Canyon, Colorado. Faye married Neil Hardy, who was in the Army and they moved several times. They had a son, Kit Owen. Later they divorced and she married Charles Crabb who was a career Marine and they lived and traveled all over. They settled in North Carolina, later divorced, and Faye then moved to California. She married Jim Thompson and after divorcing him moved to BZ Corner in 1976. Faye married Dick Hill and they divorced after a few years. Faye worked for Washington State Employment in White Salmon for 20 years. She was an avid bowler and bowled in many state and national events. She loved to read and had a huge collection of books. Faye was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Harvey, Rudy and Kurt, sister Colletta, and her son Kit. She is survived by her sisters LeLane Westby-Jolly and Jody Ensminger (Rick), and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a loving and giving person and helped many people. She will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on June 17 at Gardner Funeral Home from1 – 3. Private family interment will take place at the Trout Lake Cemetery.
