Fermin Espiritu Obias, Jr., 71, passed away at his home in Stevenson, Washington on June 12th, 2021, in Stevenson, WA. He was born in San Francisco, California on October 12, 1949, to Fermin Espiritu Obias SR and Jacqueline Seely Obias. Mr. Obis served in the United States Navy and married Jeri Ruth Murphy in Reno, Nevada on August 15, 1972. He was a preacher for Church of Christ and retired from Obie and Sons Enterprises as an owner and building contractor.
Obie was a member of the: Church of Christ and Stevenson Eagles Aerie 1744. He coached at Stevenson High School and Wind River Middle School and was a shop teacher at Wind River Middle School. He was an avid outdoorsman who liked hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed building and serving his local community.

Grandchildren: Collin Strand of Washougal, WA, Leah Boyd of Bellingham, WA, Jason Obias, Mother (Lorraine Payne) of Stevenson, WA, Kate Gottlie, Kelly Sansom, Karli Sansom of Montesano, WA, Amya St. Martin, Aria Obias, Delaney Obias of Carson, WA, Jayda Obias, Lily Obias of Vancouver, WA. Great Grandchildren: Ellinor Strand of Vancouver, WA, Sawyer Boyd of Bellingham, WA, Keagon Billie-Sansom, Quin Gottlieb, Zyler Sansom, and Tazik Sansom of Montesano, WA. Proceeded in death: Wife Jeri Ruth Obias of Stevenson, WA, and Grandson James Travis Obias of Montesano, WA.
