Jerrine (Jeri) Sellers Lieurance, 86, passed away in The Dalles, Oregon on July 25, 2021. She was born Verna Jerrine Sellers on May 9, 1935 in Goldendale, Washington to Doris (Mingus) and Richard Herman Sellers. She married Robert Edward Lieurance in Goldendale on May 4, 1953. Jeri attended schools at Goldendale and Canyonville Bible Academy. Later on, she furthered her education as a non-traditional student in an LPN nursing program then started her career at a clinic in Coos Bay, Oregon. Later on she studied for her RN and worked in nursing every place that Bob’s career took them, always encouraging others to consider nursing as a career. Jeri was an accomplished pianist and began playing for her church while she was still in high school. As a member of the Nazarene church she played at every church she attended in every community she lived. Besides playing the piano, Jeri loved singing with her husband and in choirs and praise teams, reading, traveling, drawing and painting, her pets and going to the beach. She loved God, her family and friends. Jeri had deep roots in the Goldendale area. She often spoke of her memories of her paternal grandfather, John Henry (Jack) Sellers who engineered and built the Mary Hill Loops Road. Mrs. Lieurance is survived by her children Teresa Lieurance Clyne of Goldendale, Ted Lieurance (Tanya) of Boardman, Oregon, Tom Lieurance (Janet) of Goldendale, and Patrick Lieurance (Sheri) of Marysville, Washington; siblings Janice Marx of Wenatchee, Washington and Joe Sellers of Goldendale; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren, her beloved and faithful companion, Molly, her cousins, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert; son Jon; sister Patty Brown; and infant brother Samuel Richard Sellers. A graveside service was held at Mountain View Cemetery on July 31, 2021.
