Obituary of Shirley Joyce Youngblood

Shirley Joyce Youngblood, born in Hood River, Oregon on January 28, 1936. Lived in White Salmon and surrounding area most of her life. A small break when she and her small family lived in Ketchikan, Alaska. A modest woman with a never-ending heart. Strong willed, independent, stubborn. Loving, caring, compassionate. Always the giver. Friend, confidant, and advisor. To know her an honor. Matriarch to her family, she leaves behind her amazing legacy and full honest life. Humbled early in life she lost two daughters. Shirley's mother was next then her loving husband and finally her brother. On August 16, 2021 at 10:32 p.m. Shirley joined them. Peacefully passing in her home while asleep. Shirley may have had a modest and humble life yet the hearts she touched are many. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Wanda. Granddaughters Jackie and Rebecca. Great grandchildren Myriah, Chase, Jade, Destiny, Tia, Alfredo, and Trinity. Per Shirley's request, there will be no services. Her remains will be cremated and laid to rest in the Wall (niche) at West Klickitat Cemetery located on Snowden Road
