Obituary of Graham Gulick
A funeral service for 68-year-old Bud Gulick, who passed away in Portland, Oregon with his family by his side on May 8, 2007, was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 12 at Gardner Chapel in Stevenson, Washington. Graham Snyder Gulick, Jr. was born on June 28, 1938 in New Milford, Pennsylvania, the son on Marion Edith (Brown) and Graham "Dee" Snyder Gulick, Sr. Throughout his life, he was fondly known as Bud. Mr. Gulick grew up in and graduated from high school in New Milford. he joined the United States Army and served his country honorably in Korea. In 1964, Bud moved to Salinas, California where he worked with his brother. Bud later worked for many years for Firestone and Teledyne. In 2003, at the age of 65, Bud retired and he and his wife Sue settled in Carson, Washington. Bud enjoyed his retirement in the Columbia River Gorge. During his life, from the time he was small until recently, he loved camping with his family. Mr. Gulick was an amazing handyman who could fix anything. He loved to tinder and was very resourceful, creating quirky inventions out of anything he could find that was useful. An extrememly social man, Bud had lots of friends. He loved sending text messages to friends and family. Upon meeting him, Bud may have seemed a touch gruff, but really he was comical teddy bear. Mr. Gulick was an easy man to like. He never met a stranger and never had an enemy. Bud found enjoyment in spending time with he new buddy, Kasey, a miniature Doberman Pincer. Bud Gulick is survived by his wife Sue Gulick of Carson; mother Marion Gulick of New Milford; daughter Annette Escoto and her husband Giovanni of Salinas, CA; son Steven Gulick of Greenfield, CA; stepdaughter Lorie Tittle of Oregon; stepson Mark Tittle and his wife Suzi of Stevenson; siblings Bobbie Bolles of Binghamton, NY; Buzz Gulick of New Milford; Sylvia Kind of Belleview, WA; Duane Gulick of Harleysville, PA; David Gulick of Tamaqua, PA; grandchildren Tyler Escoto, Jacob Gulick, Dakota Gulick, Denise Russell, Pete Tittle, Dustin Tittle and Kory Tittle; great grandchild Danica Hoeckendorf; and numerous friends. Preceding his in death are his father Dee and his son Rick Gulick. Vault interment at Stevenson Cemetery followed the funeral service. Gardner Funeral Home handled arrangements.
