Robert John Holter, 85, passed away on June 4, 2022 in The Dalles, Oregon. He was born in Goldendale, Washington to Edwin and Mae (Niemela) Holter on May 5, 1937. Robert served in the United States Army. He married Ilka Hollman in Reno, Nevada on May 1, 1982 and they made their home in Goldendale where Robert worked as a rancher and farmer. Mr. Holter was a member of the American Legion and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He will be missed by his wife, Ilka Holter, at home in Goldendale; son Eric Holter of Spokane, Washington; brother Ralph Holter of Goldendale and sister Kay Imrie of Naches, Washington. A graveside service will be held at noon on Friday, June 17 at Mountain View IOOF Cemetery.
