Obituary of Deborah Sullivan
North Bonneville resident Deborah S. Sullivan passed away at her home on February 19, 2018 with her family by her side. She would have celebrated her 87th birthday on March 1st. Debbie was born to Elbert and Hattie Steele in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she was popular at an early age with her peers.
Debbie married Roger Haven in Portland Oregon on November 26th, 1985 after dating for some 8 years.
He was the light of her life. She and Roger loved to spend time at their Seaside condo. She made a career as a realtor/broker and had a heart to help those she worked with. She was known for being a caring, bright and ethical business woman, loved by all she touched. Debbie was gifted at taking on home renovations and design. Later she became involved in developing, first in Cascade Park, Vancouver. She then took on the project to develop the Windsong Estates in North Bonneville where she was known and loved. It was the place she loved most. She served on the Society of Exchange Counselors, for fourteen years. Membership to S.E.C. cannot be obtained unless one is recognized by one's peers as being among the very "best of the best" in terms of professionalism, advanced skill level, and above all else, professional integrity. In addition she was part of the Meaningful Arrangement of Real Estate Transactions or MART for 20 years where she served as a two-term President on the board of directors. She was honored with Exchange Broker of the year several years. Debbie was named part of the Million Dollar club in sales several years in a row. She was involved in and cared about her local community, serving both at the Ft Vancouver Lions Club, the Skamania Chamber of Commerce as well as serving on the North Bonneville City Council for 13 years. She was a member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church for 20 years and involved in many aspects until she was no longer able to volunteer. She was passionate about cooking and took 7 years of gourmet cooking classes. She enjoyed filling her house with good friends and good food to celebrate life.
Debbie will be missed by her husband Roger of North Bonneville, daughter Tracey Hall of Mansfield, TX, grandson Christian Hall of Austin, TX and granddaughter Taira Hall of Mansfield, TX. She was preceded in
Death by her parents and her brother David Steele.
